Tianjin JL Railway Transport Equipment Ltd. is a subsidiary of China Northern Locomotive and Rolling Stock Industry (Group) company(CNR), founded in 1906. It is a main factory producing locomotive and rolling stock accessories in China. Recent years it has witnessed several times large scale innovation and become capital production base of accessories of railway. It can provide with various technological means of machining, precision casting, precision forging and heat treatment.
It covers an area of 500, 000 square meters, of which the floor space is 150, 000 square meters. It has 1946 sets of various kinds of machines, among which there are 119 sets of CNC machining and detecting equipment with advanced international standards. Now the works has 3, 200 employees, among whom there are more than 300 technical and managerial personnel.
The works can make a variety of products constructional complicated and technically intensive. Many of the products are directly related with the train's safe running so the requirements for the quality and accuracy of the products are high. The main products of our works are: Turbochargers, governors, piston rings, filters, hydraulic dampers and electrical motors used on diesel locomotives, various types of draft gears and springs used on locomotives, passenger and freight cars, brakes used in locomotives and passenger cars.
